You made one business card, one invitation, one gift tag. Now you need forty of them. Pasting the same image into a document over and over takes time, and a print setting such as Fit to page can still shrink the result.

How many copies fit on one page?

Ten 85 × 55 mm business cards can fit on an A4 sheet in two columns of five. Ten 3.5 × 2 in cards can fit on US Letter. The final count depends on margins, gaps, bleed and cutting guides.

Why do my prints come out the wrong size?

Often, something scaled them. Fit, Fit to page and Shrink oversized pages can resize a design to sit inside the printer's margins. That can be fine for a letter and wrong for a business card that has to fit a cardholder or an invitation that has to fit an envelope.

PrintGrid Pro builds the PDF at true physical dimensions in millimetres or inches. Choose Actual size or 100% when you print, and select the same paper size as the PDF. Check one printed copy before running the full batch.

How do I print double-sided cards so the back lines up with the front?

Upload a front and a back, enable double-sided printing and select the long-edge or short-edge flip. PrintGrid Pro positions both sheets as a pair so each back lines up behind its front when you turn the paper over.

For a printer without automatic duplex, print the front sheet, reload it in the correct orientation, then print the back. Test one sheet before printing the batch, because paper feed and alignment vary by printer.

What are cut lines and bleed, and do I need them?

Cut lines are thin guides showing where to trim. Bleed means the background extends a few millimetres past the cut line, so a small cutting shift does not leave a white edge.

Use trim marks or trim lines when you need cutting guides. For edge-to-edge artwork, prepare the background beyond the finished edge in your design file and check the bleed in the preview. A guide cannot create missing artwork.

Print it at home, or hand the PDF to a copy shop

The same file works both ways. Print it on your own printer on suitable cardstock, or send the PDF to a local print shop for heavier paper and cutting. Confirm the shop's paper, color and finishing requirements before ordering.

With a Canva account already connected, open Upload from Canva in New Project. Select the PrintGrid Pro business card and click Import design. The design opens in the editor and twelve cards fill a landscape US Letter sheet. Enable trim marks, then check the finished size and paper before creating your PDF. Which file types can I upload?

Are my files stored?

Source files are uploaded temporarily for PDF generation and cleaned up after processing. There is no permanent source library. Your generated PDF is available to your account for 24 hours.
